The Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer (CareOps) works at the intersection of customers, data, and production operations. You will configure and run our automation platform for healthcare practices, investigate issues end-to-end, and partner with customers on calls to scope and resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support customer automation workflows in production
  • Investigate and resolve data quality, reporting gaps, workflow behavior, and operational incidents
  • Run internal scripts and tooling for onboarding, go-lives, backfills, and operational changes
  • Join customer calls to scope issues, gather requirements, and drive resolution
  • Document outcomes, root cause, and preventive measures
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and secure handling of sensitive data

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in or supporting production environments where reliability and correctness matter
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort operating with low tolerance for errors
  • Strong communication skills, including in customer-facing situations
  • Comfort running and troubleshooting scripts and following operational runbooks and checklists
  • Experience writing and running SQL queries
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows and SDLC basics (dev/stage/prod, change management, incidents and postmortems)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or health tech experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and security best practices for healthcare data
  • Experience with data analysis to troubleshoot operational issues
  • Experience supporting integrations and operational workflows
  • Experience with LLM or agentic tooling in operations or support

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience considered.
