The Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to help with our cloud environment and ensure our healthcare automation platform runs smoothly 24/7. As our DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining our cloud infrastructure, managing deployments, and ensuring our healthcare automation workflows run seamlessly. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot our systems while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage server deployments
• Provide on-call support for critical bug fixes and production issues
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Monitor automations and data pipelines
• Execute automation for customer onboarding, workflows and go-live processes
• Write and maintain code in TypeScript, React, and NodeJS
• Implement and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain strict adherence to cybersecurity monitoring and HIPAA compliance
• Troubleshoot general support issues as they arise

Technical Requirements

Core Stack:

• TypeScript, NodeJS, React
• Containerized microservices, Kubernetes
• Google Cloud Platform
• Linux, VMs, networking, firewall configuration

Required Experience:

• Proven experience managing highly-regulated production environments
• Strong understanding of secure architecture principles
• HIPAA compliance knowledge
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to write and maintain deployment/automation scripts
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident response

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous health tech industry experience (strongly preferred)
• Startup experience (strongly preferred)
• HIPAA security training and certifications
• Google Cloud certifications
• Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience considered.
